Markon’s partner company is seeking a Expert-level Systems Engineer to join our program supporting a key IC government customer.

• Identify complex problems, document, and clearly articulate option of resolution to the customer.
• Engineer solutions for physical and virtual environments, with a goal to responsibly virtualize systems that are compatible for cloud environment services.
• Monitor existing infrastructure, identify, and coordinate implementation changes to address problems or engineering changes with little to no impact to the end users.
• Researching and engineering a new system to manage the distribution of updates and hotfixes across domains.

Required Skills:

• Candidates must have 11+ years related experience and a bachelors in similar field, or masters with 9 years of experience.
• Must Have experience with Powershell.
• Windows Server Update Services, WSUS, knowledge and hands on expertise across various enclaved environments.
• Demonstration of Tier3 and Tier 4 troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated experience with Server OS 2021R2, 2016 and 2019.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and DCHP.
• Experience with load balancers.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with VMWare 4.5 -Sx, Microsoft HaperV2008 and 2012R2 (Microsoft Data Center service is a plus).
• Microsoft Data protection Manager (DPM) 2010 or higher.
• Experience with scripting in Powershell, VB, C#.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
• Candidate must be able to work independently or with a team.
• Candidate must have the ability to adjust and learn new technologies.
• Experience writing enterprise level technical standards documentation and diagrams.
• Proven excellent customer service skills.

USD $180,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
