Description

Markon is seeking Desk Officers to support one of our Intelligence Community customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
  • Identify targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases
  • Utilization of customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 to 20+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Familiarity with cable writing and classified databases, including specific targeting tools
  • Strong briefing and writing skills as well as the ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision
  • Regional and/or functional expertise in a geographic region of interest
  • Initiative, creativity, technical excellence, and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter who can multi-task and remain calm under pressure with the ability to work both independently and in a group
  • Prior experience in supporting intelligence operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives
  • Foreign field experience from at least two overseas tour or extensive overseas TDY experience

Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
