Description

Markon is looking for a Project Scheduler to support a DoD client in in developing, implementing, and documenting DPRI program initiatives.

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide analytical and programmatic support to analyze, plan, and execute higher Headquarters plans, compliance programs, and additional scheduling support to the Director, DPRI.
  • Provide distributed access to an integrated master schedule (IMS) of facilities projects that can be updated, tracked, and maintained on a regular basis.
  • Familiar with Primavera P6. Microsoft Project, as well as SharePoint.
  • Responsible for making Excel copies of the Enterprise IMS and distribute to designated recipients.
  • Work closely with other stakeholders in order to support the Pacific Posture Working Group and operational planning team.
  • Chair the Schedulers Working Group, and will conduct Working Group Synchronization meetings at least once per quarter, or as often as needed, but no less than once per quarter, in order to ensure on time publication of the Enterprise IMS.
  • Schedules from the various Regions will be collected and compiled together in order to create the Enterprise IMS.
  • Assist in the execution of the Risk Management Program, request access to the Risk Dashboard in order to maintain and update as necessary.
  • Provide support to Pacific Branch, Strategy & Plans Division (PLP) Plans, Policy & Operations (PP&O) when directed.
  • Assist with the development and provide distributed access to a change management program that can be updated, tracked, and maintained on a regular basis.
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding manpower requirements and estimates and Table of Organization/Equipment Change Request (TOECR) process.
  • Provide technical written tasks supporting Director, including, but not limited to, briefings, information papers, decision papers, and official messages in all planning areas.
  • Assist in the development of procedures wherein all parties involved in the DoD budget process can identify the effect of budget cuts on operations, and in the reverse, identify impacts to the budget resulting from lowered service levels at the installations.
  • As needed, provide conference planning and meeting support. This will include pre-event planning, on-site coordination, and post-event activities for designated government, and inter-agency conferences, symposia, and workshops.

Qualifications

  • Secret Clearance
  • Work will be accomplished in a hybrid capacity. There will be a requirement to be in-office multiple times per week, particularly early on. Teleworking is allowable.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills working at a headquarters level with senior leadership.
  • Must have experience in project management
  • Schedule, change, and risk management for infrastructure projects
  • Strong user experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and SharePoint.
  • Flexibility to work with stakeholders across multiple time zones

Salary Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
