Description

Markon is seeking a Subject Matter Expert Project Manager to support our Intelligence Customer IT infrastructure organization that develops, deploys and manages all of the customer organizations IT networks. This position supports GIO’s largest and highest priority effort, a new multi-year network infrastructure roll-out that includes multiple sub-projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project details to include schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight
  • Manage and evaluate integrated project team performance
  • Provide SME level programmatic guidance and support
  • Evaluate, validate, and manage project change requests
  • Assist in providing official weekly project status reports
  • Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders
  • Assist the client's Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) with acquisition planning, execution and administration where necessary
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules and budgets; provide technical guidance and assistance and provide oversight of any follow-on programs
  • Optimize performance, cost, and schedule by ensuring project objectives are achieved on schedule and at the lowest cost compatible with user requirements
  • Interface with senior government leaders and congressional oversight
  • Support Office strategic planning and strategy development efforts, as they relate to the project

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI FSP required
  • 12+ years of experience and familiarity with customer organization in a SETA and/or PM role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively as well as apply creativity in a fast paced environment.
  • Ideal candidate will have prior experience with IT networks and IT infrastructure; however, this is not a mandatory requirement.
  • Candidate must have proven ability to interact with customers, senior leaders and program managers in matrixed organizational environment
  • Experience preparing and delivering briefing materials.
  • High-level programmatic experience and a proven ability to move projects forward.

Salary Range

USD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
