Description

Markon’s partner company is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our Intelligence Customer's cloud solution organization by providing consulting and hands-on expertise to develop, implement, and manage the automated testing strategy for a multi-vendor (cloud service provider) environment

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a lead for technical discussions with interface partners in assessing the current and future state of payroll applications.
  • Analyze the current state of all the Agency’s payroll applications, systems and interfaces.
  • Assist in identifying and documenting the payroll business processes and assist in data mapping of current state payroll systems to future-state payroll systems.
  • Assist in documenting all the internal and external payroll interfaces associated with the payroll applications/systems.
  • Design the future state of all the Agency’s payroll applications. Systems and interfaces.
  • Perform data mapping and analysis of current data fields against a shared service provider’s data requirements needed to support payroll processing.
  • Assist with designing and building a cloud based bi-directional interface with our payroll shared service provider.
  • Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
  • Work with business and technical partners to deliver robust systems that meet stakeholder needs.

Qualifications

  • Significant knowledge and understanding of cloud technologies from at least one vendor {AWS, Oracle, Microsoft, or Google), and ability to learn cloud technologies from vendors not familiar with
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  •  Demonstrated hands-on experience with establishing and/or executing automated testing procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Agile Methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an active member of a cohesive and energetic team and ability to work independently as needed to meet requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree relevant to role, or equivalent experience as a systems engineer supporting system integration and test activities on a large integration program/cloud environment
  • At least 10 years of experience working in in a testing capacity on a complex Sponsor program.
  • Active TS/SCI FS Polygraph

Salary Range

USD $190,000.00 - USD $210,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
