Markon’s partner company is seeking a DEI Facilitator to support our Intelligence Customer in DEI strategy

Responsibilities

  • Ability to facilitate diversity, equity, and inclusion conversations.
  • Ability to manage conflicts and employ immediate interventions; make design changes on the spot and tailor content to meet the needs of the target audience
  • Facilitate customized training content for the organization
  • Design and implement process interventions in response to complex organizational issues
  • Facilitate group discussions and respond to queries

Qualifications

  • Experienced facilitator practitioner (7+ years) in facilitator’s area of expertise
  • Active TS/SCI FS Polygraph
  • Experience in adult teaching and facilitation
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Education, Curriculum Development, Workforce Training and Development, Human Resources, Sociology, Organizational Psychology, or closely related field required
  • Demonstrated understanding of learning and development, training, or a related area, with the ability to develop and deliver creative and powerful learning solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to use facilitative behaviors such as active listening, paraphrasing, questioning, summarizing, using tools like problem solving and action planning
  • Ability to design and conduct interviews and focus groups
  • Ability to design and implement process interventions in response to complex organizational issues
  • Excellent communication, editing, and writing skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to gather, compile, evaluate, and interpret complex information, as well as clearly present this information to stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills (analysis, judgment, information seeking)
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starter

    Desired Qualifications

    • Minimum of seven years of experience working on DEI learning strategies and programs
    • Willingness to TDY CONUS and OCONUS to deliver in-person DEIA Training and consultations.
    • Ability to consolidate ideas from a mass of information into coherent summaries
    • Ability to help a group set goals and objectives that are measurable
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment
    • Ability to coordinate with diversity practitioners and supervisors and managers in the design of the facilitation intervention
    • Knowledge about terminology/well-versed in language connected to diversity, equity, and inclusion topics

Salary Range

USD $180,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
