Description

Markon is seeking a Budget Execution Analyst to support the ODNI/ Facilities & Logistics team in developing, implementing, and overseeing facilities related budget execution requirements.   

Responsibilities

  • Provide input on financial forecasting comments and quality control on project documentation in support of facility requirements.  
  • Perform a wide range of routine to moderately complex financial activities and analysis, to support approved facilities budget.  
  • Prepare accountings for certification in support of debt collection, Other Government Agency (OGA) payments, and accounting operations.  
  • Initiate and properly track costs associated with approved spend plan.  
  • Process all required documentation for payments associated with Inter/Intra-Agency Agreements (IAAs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Service Agreements (SAs) and/or other related Government funding actions.  
  • Assist with preparation of the facility annual budget submission.  
  • Assist in the establishment of commitments and obligations and periodically revalidate them within establish guidelines and procedures.  
  • With Government guidance, conduct technical analysis in accordance with industry best-practice standards. 
  • Other financial support functions within the scope of the contract.
  • Provide supporting documentation and written responses to Government audit requests. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.  
  • Five (5) years of experience working with Federal Agency finance regulations, policies, and unique authorities.  
  • Basic knowledge of quality assurance procedures to ensure the integrity of electronic and hard copy record storage for audit readiness.  
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn new applications such as budget and accounting systems.  
  • Active TS/SCI with a CI Poly

Salary Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
