Markon is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our program supporting a key IC government customer.

As a DevOps Engineer in the Intelligence Community, this is an opportunity to work on some of the most amazing systems in the world.  Big data, high security and advanced analytics are day to day topics for this position. 

• You will implement cloud-based software development and operations (DevOps) pipelines for rapidly evolving programs. 
• You will have the opportunity to streamline software development processes while working with some of the top program management teams in the world. 
• AWS is a foundational element of the architecture so you will have a massive set of resources to align. 
• While implementing software delivery pipelines you will implement container-based solutions (Kubernetes and Docker).  You can expect infrastructure as code to be a significant component of the solutions.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with FS Poly
• 14+ years of experience with software system design, development, integration, and testing
• 10+ years of experience with managing a continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline consisting of an integrated CI server, including Jenkins, VCS, Git, or issue tracking (including JIRA)
• 8+ yeas experience with Cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), CloudFormation, and Docker

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or an advanced Cloud certification
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Familiarity with Cross Security Domain Solutions
• Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC) or DoD in the Cyber Security Domain
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) EC2, S3, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, Elastic Container, Service (ECS), Docker, Fargate, CloudWatch, AWS Batch, CloudFormation, Elastic, Beanstalk, Redshift, DynamoDB, Athena and RDS ( Postgres, Aurora), KMS, IAM, SQS and, SNS

 

USD $170,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
