Markon is seeking a Facility Procurement Agent to support our NRO client at multiple locations across the US.
The ideal Facility Procurement Agent will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:
Negotiate contracts for products, services, and technologies across the organization.
Coordinate with stakeholders to align sourcing and contracting strategies with customer and program needs.
Handle pricing negotiations and contractual terms and conditions.
Prepare and execute binding agreements and contractual documents.
Optimize supply chain operations to balance inventory, supply, and demand.
Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance to ensure quality, delivery, and financial reliability.
Mitigate risks and resolve procurement-related issues.
Initiate supplier improvement activities and incorporate findings into future contracting strategies.
Required:
High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree required (dependent on level)
2–10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management
Experience negotiating and executing contracts
Strong understanding of supply chain optimization and vendor management
Desired:
Government or defense procurement experience
Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Strong interpersonal and supplier relationship management skills
