Markon is seeking a Facility Commercial Truck Driver to support our NRO client at multiple locations across the US.
The ideal Facility Commercial Truck Driver will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:
Transport materials and equipment safely and efficiently between designated locations using a variety of fleet vehicles.
Coordinate with administrative staff to meet transportation needs, sometimes requiring adjustments to the schedule or route.
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and arrange for scheduled servicing and major repairs as needed.
Record mileage, expenses, and vehicle service history for tracking and reporting purposes.
Plan and assess transportation routes to optimize delivery times, adjusting as needed based on road conditions and traffic reports.
Maintain complete awareness of schedule requirements and ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times.
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2–10+ years of professional driving experience
Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HAZMAT Certification
Clean driving record and ability to provide annual driving history
Flexibility to work adjusted schedules including nights and weekends
Desired:
Experience transporting sensitive or classified materials
Mechanical aptitude for conducting routine vehicle inspections and reporting issues
Strong organizational and route-planning skills
