Markon is creating a team to provide Construction Management support for the Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) across the Hines Veteran Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC). The team will be located on-site supporting infrastructure upgrades across the medical network through construction management, construction administration and claims services.
The team will provide a wide range of support services related to operations, renovations, and new construction programs supporting non-recurring maintenance, and minor and major project support. Support will include development of Concept Plans, Independent Government Cost Estimates, schedules, and Technical Specifications for each individual project. Assistance will be required for project development through all phases for developing quality solicitation packages for Design-Bid-Build contracts.

Be a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST); or
Be able to attain CHST certification within 90 days of contract award, with at least three (3) years of construction industry safety program management experience; or
Be a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with at least two (2) years of construction industry safety program management experience; or
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in safety and health from an accredited university or college, and have three (3) years of construction industry safety program management experience.
The CM-CHST shall have completed the OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety class.
The CM-CHST shall have completed a specialized formal course in hazard recognition and control associated with high hazard work operations, including:
