Markon is seeking a User Engagement Representative to support our NRO client from Chantilly, VA.
As a User Engagement Representative, you will serve as the vital link between end users and the enterprise, ensuring mission needs are met through active communication, responsive engagement, and strategic coordination. Responsibilities include:
Identify, capture, and prioritize user intelligence needs, capability gaps, and operational shortfalls
Rapidly respond to user requirements with NRO enterprise solutions and support mechanisms
Assist users in articulating and advocating their system and intelligence support needs across the Intelligence Community (IC)
Ensure users understand and can access NRO systems, tools, and services to enable mission execution
Develop and manage engaging business and marketing plans to expand user adoption of enterprise capabilities
Design, monitor, and continuously evaluate marketing and engagement campaigns to enhance user awareness and participation
Document user requirements, use cases, and user stories in support of capability development and delivery
Support government program management tasks including budgeting, readiness reviews, and control documentation
Promote collaboration across technical teams and mission stakeholders to translate user needs into actionable engineering and delivery plans
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure transparency, alignment, and user satisfaction
Required:
Entry-Level:
0–3 years with a Bachelor’s in Business Management, Computer Science, Administration, or related field
OR 7 years with a High School Diploma/GED
OR 5 years with an Associate degree
Intermediate-Level:
4–7 years with a Master’s in Business Management, Computer Science, Administration, or related field
OR 10 years with a High School Diploma/GED
OR 8 years with an Associate degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Administration, or related field
OR 6 years with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Administration, or related field
Senior-Level:
8+ years with a Doctorate in Business Management, Computer Science, Administration, or related field
OR 16 years with a High School Diploma/GED
OR 14 years with an Associate degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Administration, or related field
OR 12 years with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Administration, or related field
OR 10 years with a Master’s degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Administration, or related field
AND
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph (preferrably with this client)
Strong business analysis, communication, coordination, and leadership skills
Experience developing and monitoring marketing/engagement campaigns
Proficiency in documenting requirements, use cases, and user stories
Understanding of cloud computing technologies and software development
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
Knowledge of federal/government program management, budgeting, and readiness processes
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-demand, and collaborative environments
Desired:
Demonstrated success in developing marketing plans and business strategies to grow customer engagement
Experience promoting adoption of cloud-based or technical platforms in mission environments
