Markon is seeking Information Systems Managers (multiple experience levels) to support our NRO client from Chantilly, VA.
The ideal Knowledge Manager will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:
Develop and implement knowledge management strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the capture, storage, and dissemination of organizational knowledge
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge gaps and develop solutions to address them
Leverage data science, AI, and ML techniques to enhance knowledge management practices, including data analysis, predictive modeling, and natural language processing
Develop and maintain machine learning models to automate knowledge extraction, classification, and retrieval processes
Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of knowledge repositories, databases, and content management systems
Ensure the accuracy, relevance, and accessibility of knowledge assets for all stakeholders
Facilitate communication and information exchange between teams, departments, and external partners
Establish metrics and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives
Continuously assess and improve knowledge management processes and tools based on feedback and evolving organizational needs
Required:
Entry-Level:
0–3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
OR 7 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED
OR 5 years of related experience with an Associate degree
Intermediate-Level:
4–7 years of experience with a Master’s in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
OR 10 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED
OR 8 years of related experience with an Associate degree
OR 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
Senior-Level:
8+ years of experience with a Doctorate in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
OR 16 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED
OR 14 years of related experience with an Associate degree
OR 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
OR 10 years of related experience with a Master’s degree
AND
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (Preferrably with this client)
Experience in knowledge management and tools such as SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence
Understanding of knowledge management principles and best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Desired:
Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics
Familiarity with knowledge management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Jira)
Certification in knowledge management or related areas
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Certification in knowledge management or related fields
