Description

Markon is seeking a Logistician to support our NRO client from Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities

The ideal Logistician will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:

  • Develop and execute detailed plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies

  • Provide comprehensive logistical support, including transportation, supply chain management, inventory control, and resource management

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless and efficient use of resources

  • Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, to support deployment operations

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of activities, including logs, reports, and records

  • Identify and resolve logistical challenges and issues that may arise

  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and efficiency

  • Provide training and support to personnel to ensure readiness and effectiveness

  • Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints

  • Assess and mitigate risks, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and resources

Qualifications

Required:

Entry-Level:

  • 0–3 years of experience with a Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

    • OR 7 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED

    • OR 5 years of related experience with an Associate degree

Intermediate-Level:

  • 4–7 years of experience with a Master’s in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

    • OR 10 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED

    • OR 8 years of related experience with an Associate degree

    • OR 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree

Senior-Level:

  • 8+ years of experience with a Doctorate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

    • OR 16 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/GED

    • OR 14 years of related experience with an Associate degree

    • OR 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree

    • OR 10 years of related experience with a Master’s degree

AND

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph

  • Experience working in a warehouse operations or deployment coordinator role

  • Strong project management skills, excellent organizational and communication abilities

Desired:

  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools

  • Relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management

  • Willingness to travel and support deployment operations in various domestic and international locations

Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
