Description

Markon's partner company is seeking a Communication Support Officer III to support our Intelligence Community client from Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities

The ideal Communication Support Officer III will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:

  • Create and maintain communications systems via hardware and software

  • Build email and phone number accounts

  • Integrate and maintain services

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

  • Update, track, and renew computer and telephone services

  • Utilize instant messaging applications with understanding of their respective strengths and weaknesses

  • Set up hardware and software solutions quickly and efficiently

Qualifications

Required:

  • An active TS/SCI with an FSP (Preferably from this client)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience relating to the responsibilities above

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field

  • Direct experience with messaging applications

  • Experience with procurement and setting up devices

  • Experience with VPN setup and maintaining telecom solutions and applications

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and GSuite

Desired:

  • Experience developing for mobile platforms (iOS, Android)

  • Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues

Salary Range

USD $110,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
