Markon's partner company is seeking a Network Analyst II to support our Intelligence Community client from Reston, VA.
The ideal Network Analyst II will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:
Coordinate with customer units to provide timely and accurate network analysis of logical and physical routes of key networks
Evaluate the role and value of network operations
Display subject matter expertise on targets, review network topologies, system architectures, router configurations, and telecommunications infrastructures
Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience relating to the responsibilities above
Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field
Strong understanding of network technologies, protocols, systems, and equipment
Professional industry/commercial experience in telecommunications analyzing logical and physical routes
Ability to analyze large volumes of data effectively
Working knowledge of Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN)
Understanding of data networks and traffic engineering concepts
Experience with network architecture or cellular networks for 3G, 4G, and/or 5G, including core network and radio network engineering
Experience with VOIP networks
Experience in commercial/industrial telecommunication networks
Proficient computer and database skills
