Markon's partner company is seeking a Technical Project Manager III to support our Intelligence Community client around the Reston, VA area.
The ideal Technical Project Manager III will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
Coordinate with engineering teams to prioritize and scope project requirements
Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure project deliverables meet technical requirements
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other technical stakeholders to ensure technical alignment
Ensure business objectives are documented, communicated, and met
Facilitate communication and collaboration between engineering teams, product managers, and other stakeholders
Track project progress, identify and address deviations from the plan
Ensure project deliverables meet quality, functionality, and performance standards
Required:
Minimum 6 years of experience as a Project Manager
Bachelor’s degree in management or a technology-related field
Experience in managing technical projects with a proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Experience briefing stakeholders and senior leadership on project requirements and timelines
Experience performing technical project coordination duties with success in achieving programmatic milestones
Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues
Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, plans, and results effectively
Desired:
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project and Jira
Experience with cloud platforms and familiarity with DevOps practices
