Markon is seeking a Nuclear Facilities Engineer to join our team in Niskayuna, NY supporting a government customer!
Oversee facility and infrastructure maintenance activities, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Maintain and monitor project work schedules, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders to meet deadlines.
Conduct field observations and inspections to validate compliance with technical requirements, safety standards, and quality objectives.
Support hazard analysis and risk assessments, ensuring appropriate mitigations are in place for nuclear-related operations.
Interface with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to address engineering challenges and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Prepare technical reports and documentation summarizing findings, observations, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Perform additional engineering support duties as assigned by management to meet project needs.
