Markon is seeking a Finance Resource Generalist to support our Intelligence Customer.
Perform comprehensive financial analysis and support for management, staff, and customers.
Reconcile general ledger, bank accounts, and financial systems; process corrective actions as needed.
Review and maintain data integrity in financial records, databases, and accounting systems.
Ensure compliance with federal and Sponsor financial policies, procedures, and record-keeping standards.
Process payments, reimbursements, and accounting transactions for various financial operations.
Provide guidance on financial policies, procedures, and complex accounting issues to staff and customers.
Act as liaison between finance users and system developers to resolve technical and process issues.
Conduct testing and generate reports for financial systems; analyze system interactions with accounting data.
Research financial regulations and resolve routine financial issues using system data.
Deliver training, user support, and communicate system updates and procedural changes
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in financial records processing and financial records management.
Associate’s Degree in finance, business administration, or a closely related field.
Substitution Option:
An additional 2 years of equivalent relevant experience (total of 4 years) may be substituted for the education requirement.
