Description

Markon is seeking a Telecom Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level telecommunication and network solutions. This role requires a strong background in developing, testing, and deploying mission-critical technologies that ensure secure, high-performance, and reliable network operations. The ideal candidate is a collaborative professional who can work across technical and non-technical teams while also excelling in independent problem-solving and system optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize enterprise networks with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and security.
  • Lead the deployment of new networking and virtualization technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues through strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively across cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Deliver high-availability solutions to support mission-critical operations.
  • Design, integrate, and maintain SIP-based telephony systems and IPBX environments.
  • Ensure network scalability, compliance, and alignment with evolving organizational needs.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • Proven experience managing enterprise networks with a focus on reliability and performance.
  • Expertise in deploying and supporting virtualization technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-resolution skills.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and integrating SIP-based telephony and managing IPBX systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver secure, high-availability network solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining secure network infrastructures across cloud, virtual, and on-premises environments.
  • Proficiency with SIEM tools, security analytics, and monitoring of high-availability systems.
  • Familiarity with modern server operating systems, load balancers, and diverse network device management.
  • Experience managing commercial voice services and VoIP platforms for both business and wholesale operations.

Salary Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $220,000.00 /Yr.
