Description

Markon’s partner company is seeking a Full Stack Developer, where you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering modern web applications. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about creating innovative, high-quality software solutions for a government client.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance web applications using React, TypeScript, and Java.
  • Build and implement embedded or distributed software applications that meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation and delivery.
  • Lead front-end development initiatives and contribute to architecture decisions.
  • Develop and integrate APIs and connect to back-end systems.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
  • Write and maintain clear, detailed software documentation.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications).
    • 3+ years of professional full stack development experience.
    • Strong technical skills in:
      • Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React
      • Back-end: RESTful APIs, database management, model integration
    • Solid understanding of software development best practices and collaboration within Agile teams.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 5–10 years of experience across the full software development lifecycle.
    • Prior AWS experience.
    • Familiarity with:
      • Coding standards and code reviews
      • Source control management (e.g., Git)
      • Build and deployment processes
      • Testing methodologies and QA practices
      • Operations and system monitoring

Salary Range

USD $190,000.00 - USD $230,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
