Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 5 to support our Intelligence Customer out of Fort Meade to serve as a key technical contributor responsible for tracking requirements, managing team tasking, documenting completed work, and interfacing with customers and mission partners.
Track, manage, and document system engineering requirements and technical progress for assigned tasks.
Coordinate team tasking and delivery schedules to ensure alignment with program objectives.
Interface directly with customers, mission partners, and analytic development teams to capture requirements and communicate progress.
Support analytic developers and CNE analysts in the design and refinement of network signatures and data processing tools.
Provide technical documentation and workflow artifacts using Jira, GitLab, and Confluence.
Contribute to the development and improvement of network traffic analysis capabilities that support cyber defense and exploitation missions.
Requirements:
Required Skills:
Proficiency in capturing, managing, and documenting artifacts using Jira, GitLab, and Confluence.
Strong customer outreach, communication, and product marketing skills for effectively interfacing with mission and capabilities partners.
General knowledge of computer network exploitation (CNE) techniques, tools, behaviors, and strategies.
Familiarity with common network protocols such as TCP, UDP, ICMP, HTTP, SMTP, and SSH.
Working knowledge of Agency processing systems, including the ability to write plugins and fingerprints to extend analytic capabilities.
