Markon is seeking a Communications Support Officer with expertise in maintaining and designing mission-critical communications systems, managing telecom procurement, and collaborating with vendors for an Intelligence customer.

• Maintaining and managing existing comms system to support mission.
• Participate in the design of new comms system to ensure proper system integration and compatibility.
• Work cross functionally with different vendors to manage systems and project success.

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Experience with comms system hardware and software to include design built and retrofit with collaboration with project teams and/or vendors.
• Experience in VPN setup, MFA, and solutioning.
• Experience with telecom messaging applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office365 and GSuite.
• Experience in special comms procurement and related efforts.
• Project management experience with telecom equipment and services.
• Experience working with commercial telecom and data vendors and familiarity with systems/vendor limitations with COTS products.
• Ability to mentor other team members.
• Able to work in a fast-pace environment and savvy with managing technical projects and providing solutions.
• Frequent domestic travel up to 50%.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with development for mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
• Savvy with IT support of software and hardware issues

USD $150,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
