Systems Engineer Level 3

Markon is seeking a Systems Engineer to support mission-critical system development and integration efforts in a complex government environment. The Systems Engineer will analyze user needs, develop system requirements and architectures, and provide technical leadership across the system life cycle to ensure solutions meet operational and technical objectives.

• Analyze user requirements, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyze system requirements and lead system design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, recommend alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for integrating requirements, design, and enabling technologies.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operational environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and system design artifacts.
• Support system development and implementation planning through Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEMPs) and System Integration and Test Plans.
• Interface with Government stakeholders on systems engineering technical considerations, issues, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure the technical integrity of systems engineering work products and associated deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with program personnel, government oversight organizations, and senior executives.

• Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph with this Customer
• High School diploma or GED plus 12 years of general systems engineering experience,
  OR Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus 7 years of systems engineering experience,
  OR Master’s degree in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus 5 years of systems engineering experience,
  OR PhD in a qualified engineering field or related discipline plus 3 years of systems engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in requirements analysis, system architecture development, and system integration.
• Experience developing systems engineering documentation and technical plans.
• Strong communication skills for engaging technical teams, government stakeholders, and senior leadership.

USD $130,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.
