Markon's partner company is seeking a qualified CNO (Computer Network Operations) professional that is interested in teaching the next generation. This role is an instructor position mostly based in Chantilly, VA.
Deliver advanced instruction in computer network operations (CNO), including planning, collection, network navigation, and exploitation techniques within classified and unclassified environments.
Design, develop, and continuously refine comprehensive lesson plans, instructor guides, and course materials aligned with adult learning principles and Sponsor requirements.
Teach complex technical topics such as IT networking, mobile and desktop operating systems, scripting/programming languages, network collection techniques, and IT security products in a clear and accessible manner.
Develop and facilitate hands-on labs, scenario-based exercises, and experiential learning events that simulate real-world cyber operational environments.
Conduct instruction on systems and network vulnerability assessment methodologies, tools, and reporting practices.
Integrate multiple instructional delivery methods (lecture, facilitated discussion, CBT, and practical application) to address diverse learning styles and mission needs.
Mentor and evaluate students on technical proficiency, operational tradecraft, analytical thinking, and adherence to security protocols.
Collaborate with operational teams and subject matter experts to ensure course content reflects current tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and evolving cyber threats.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a STEM field.
4 years of additional full-time work experience in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, business, or other related scientific or technical discipline shall be considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
