Description

Markon is seeking a Management Analyst - SME to support an Intelligence Community customer in Bethesda, MD. This role provides senior-level analytical, operational, and program management support to help drive organizational efficiency, strategic planning, and mission execution. The position works closely with Government leadership and stakeholders to analyze business operations, develop recommendations, coordinate initiatives, and support enterprise-level management activities in a fast-paced mission environment.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management Experience - Monitor and analyze IT portfolio of programs and their associated capabilities and Services.
  • Strategic Planning Experience – support the evolution of the Sponsor’s strategic direction and priorities.
  • Make recommendations to aid sponsor decision-making, to include:
    • Proposed strategies and/or roadmaps,
    • Identified risks, capability and performance gaps, and dependencies,
    • Alignment with the strategic framework and priorities,
    • Funding and related program issues.
  • Assist government clients with programmatic goals and objectives, schedules, and reports to the senior-level executives.
  • Communicate technical topics in a non-technical manner to senior-level audiences.
  • Extensive experience in collaboration across multiple entities.
  • Experience working with partners outside the US.
  • Draft products that reflect strong writing and grammatical skills.
  • Work with seniors in diverse, fast-paced, multi-task environment managing competing priorities.
  • Produce deliverables in multiple formats as needed (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Take charge of a group and set strategic guidance for a team of SMEs.
  • Track upcoming deliverables and ensure team assignments are adequate to ensure all work is delivered on time.
  • Ensure the customer is kept on track and aware of all upcoming deadlines.

Qualifications

Required:

  • An active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph is required to be considered for this role (preferrably from this client).
  • Bachelor's of Science degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Knowledge of portfolio, program, and project management discipline
  • Familiarity with planning, programing, Budgeting, and execution discipline (PPBE or IPPBE)
  • Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Strong analytical competence, problem-solving, communication and organizational skills Provide audience-appropriate written and verbal communications and demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proactively prepare talking points and summaries to ensure the customers are well prepared for upcoming events

Desired:

  • Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.

Salary Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.
