Description

Markon is seeking an experienced Senior Facility Manager to support an Intelligence Community customer by overseeing facility operations, maintenance, and construction projects within secure environments. This role manages building operations and SCIF construction and renovation activities, coordinates contractors and trades, and ensures projects are delivered safely, securely, and in accordance with customer requirements. The Senior Facility Manager will oversee projects from planning and design through construction and closeout while maintaining reliable day-to-day facility operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations, maintenance, repairs, and work orders within secure facilities.
  • Lead SCIF and infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
  • Oversee contractors, trades, tenants, and multidisciplinary teams while managing project schedules, budgets, and performance.
  • Conduct inspections and review designs, submittals, and change requests to ensure compliance with security requirements, building codes, specifications, and customer standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, provide status reporting, and support acquisition, construction oversight, and emergency response activities.
  • Support the CO/COTR with acquisition planning, site visits, contractor oversight, invoice documentation, and project closeout.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI FSP required
  • Bachelor's degree in any field and 10+ years of building systems operations and maintenance experience. A high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma with an additional 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience managing SCIF or other secure facility construction, renovation, and maintenance projects.
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations and building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, and telecommunications.
  • Experience managing construction projects, including schedules, budgets, contractor performance, inspections, and project closeout.
  • Ability to review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and change requests.
  • Experience coordinating contractors, trades, tenants, Government customers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong project management, customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide after-hours support for facility emergencies and critical operational requirements.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community facilities and SCIF construction requirements.
  • Knowledge of ICD/ICS 705 or related secure facility construction and accreditation requirements.
  • Experience with MAXIMO or a comparable facility/project management platform.
  • Experience supporting Government construction contracting, acquisition, and contract administration.
  • Experience working directly with Contracting Officers and COTRs on facility or construction projects.

Salary Range

USD $115,000.00 - USD $140,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
