Description

Markon is building a talent pool of Junior Accreditation Analysts to support future Intelligence Community facility and secure construction missions. This pipeline opportunity is intended to identify developing professionals to support the accreditation of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and assist with accreditation documentation, compliance reviews, and records management. Selected candidates will be considered for future openings supporting SCIF accreditation activities under the guidance of senior accreditation personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial completeness reviews of SCIF accreditation packages and supporting documentation.
  • Assist senior accreditation analysts with package reviews, documentation, and accreditation activities.
  • Maintain accreditation records, tracking systems, status updates, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate routine communications with facility owners, security personnel, project teams, and other stakeholders throughout the accreditation process.
  • Identify missing or incomplete documentation and support resolution of accreditation package deficiencies.
  • Assist with preparing accreditation correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other required documentation.
  • Track accreditation actions and requirements through completion.
  • Support multiple accreditation efforts and priorities in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field or 4 years of experience in security or facility management
  • 2+ years of experience supporting SCIF operations, security programs, and/or facility accreditation
  • Familiarity with SCIF security and accreditation processes
  • Experience reviewing, organizing, and maintaining security or facility documentation
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical, and written communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with facility owners, security personnel, and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Ability to work effectively under the guidance of senior accreditation personnel

Desired:

  • Familiarity with ICD 705 and applicable SCIF accreditation requirements
  • Experience supporting SCIF accreditation packages or Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) documentation
  • Experience maintaining accreditation records, databases, or tracking systems
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community secure facilities, security programs, or construction projects

Salary Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.

The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
