Description

Markon is seeking a Senior Technical Support Officer to support an Intelligence Community client in Chantilly, Virginia. This position will provide technical support to sensitive projects through the planning, development, and delivery of technical interviews, hands-on assessments, and training programs. Working within a multidisciplinary team, the Senior Technical Support Officer will combine technical expertise, instructional capability, and project leadership to evaluate and develop personnel while supporting complex mission requirements.

 

NOTE: This position requires up to 30% travel to CONUS and/or OCONUS locations, sometimes with short notice.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and deliver technical interviews and hands-on assessments in support of sensitive projects and mission requirements.
  • Develop and implement technical and tradecraft training programs.
  • Lead technical training activities as a hands-on instructor, providing practical instruction to students and mission personnel.
  • Evaluate and document student performance during technical assessments and training activities.
  • Apply broad technical and tradecraft expertise to support complex mission requirements.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and coordinate effectively across diverse technical and operational skill sets.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance to customers, project teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of relevant concepts, practices, and procedures to technical training and assessment activities.
  • Support the management and execution of large or complex projects involving multiple customer relationships.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with stakeholders across government and industry environments.

Qualifications

Required:

  • An active TS/SCI with FSP (preferrably from this client) clearance is required to be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
    • Preferrably a Bachelor's in STEM.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Consultant-level experience supported by a broad range of government and/or private-sector experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large projects and multiple client relationships.
  • Extensive knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to the position's technical subject matter.
  • Experience developing and implementing technical and tradecraft training programs.
  • Experience leading and delivering technical training as a hands-on instructor.
  • Experience evaluating and documenting student performance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to operate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% CONUS and/or OCONUS.

Desired:

  • Experience with mobile platform development, including iOS and Android.
  • Direct operational experience.

Salary Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
